Eddie is a Research Associate in the lab. He received his B.S. in biochemistry from Manhattan College and his Ph.D. from Yale University in 2017. His doctoral work focused on genome engineering technologies. Eddie enjoys hockey, skateboarding, ‘90s hip-hop, and spicy food. At Yale he won a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the Spangler Prize for outstanding Ph.D. thesis. In 2018, Eddie won a Milton Safenowitz Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the ALS Association. In 2019, Eddie was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). In 2023, Eddie was awarded an NIH Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00) from the National Institute on Aging (NIA).
